and to show via careful parametric analyses how we can optimally select glasses for lenses of Rlq7.2cP
different f/numbers, spectral bands, and performance requirements. The important roles of }%wd1`l7
refractive index and Abbe number as well as partial dispersion will be considered. Using the v3-/ [-XB:
SCHOTT glass map, six separate and identifiable regions along with glasses within each region DH(<{ #u
will be discussed. The goal for this paper is to make glass selection easier to understand.
